Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) monitoring from designed and optimally managed HVAC building systems built on an integrated framework

The objective is to explore the effects on Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) from designed and optimally managed HVAC building systems built on an integrated framework, named Adaptive Ventilation Management Cyber System (Cyber-AVM). The framework will be built upon individual and group occupants' kinematics responses to satisfy indoor CO2 concentrations conditions for occupants' comfort. This project addresses this goal through the following specific objectives. Develop an integrated computational model to enable the continuous and real-time feedback for occupants' high-grained and segmented physical-activities. Develop a framework for design and management of an integrated HVAC system considering both exogenous data and airflow-data sources from occupants' kinetic information.
